Due to the natural ingredient makeup of our products, they do eventually expire. We guarantee a 2 year shelf life on each of our products. Expired products won’t hurt your skin, but they will be less effective over time (and will not smell as nice). Aged ingredients won’t nourish and hydrate as thoroughly as fresh ones.

We use a variety of organic ingredients in our products - such as organic aloe vera extract, cane sugar, soybean oil, lavender extract, green tea extract, and calendula extract. We are very particular about the ingredients we use, and you can trust that every ingredient we use is the highest quality, plant based, and good for your skin and the environment. Paraffin wax is used in more than 95% of candle making done today, mainly because it is very inexpensive. Paraffin is the leftover by-product from the petroleum refining process, studies have shown that this petroleum by-product can release the same harmful carcinogens into the atmosphere as your car produces when gasoline is burned. When a paraffin candle in burned, it produces toxic petrol-carbon soot, which can blacken walls, furniture and ceilings. This soot goes into the air you breathe and can be hazardous to your health.

Studies have shown that some parabens can mimic the activity of the hormone estrogen in the body’s cells, and while estrogenic activity is associated with certain forms of breast cancer, parabens have been found present in breast tumors.

Sulfates can cause a number of problems for your hair including drying, irritating your scalp, fading your color, and even hair loss. Sulfates are really good at getting rid of any build up in your hair, and with that they also take away natural oils and can leave your hair rough and dry. Sulfate is the ingredient that causes shampoos to lather. If your shampoo lathers, it could contain sulfates. Additionally, Sulfates are concerning because they were found to break down proteins, which can lead to a degenerative effect on the cell membranes. Sulfates were also found to leave residue in the heart, lungs, and brain.

We are also ensure that neither DANI naturals nor our ingredient suppliers conduct, commission, or pay for any tests on animals for their ingredients, formulations, or finished products anywhere in the world and won’t do so in the future.

Not tested on animals means no animal testing will ever be used in any phase of product development by our company, its laboratories, or our ingredient suppliers.
